Dr. Pyrros Papadimitriou is a lawyer, economist and Associate Professor in International Economic Relations at the University of Peloponnese.

Dr. Pyrros Papadimitriou is a lawyer, economist and Associate Professor in International Economic Relations at the University of Peloponnese.

Pyrros began his professional career as a financial analyst at Gerald & National Inter Commodities in London (1989-1990) and continued as researcher at the Foundation for Economic & Industrial Research in Athens (1994-95), manager in the Sector Research & Analysis department of ALPHA Bank (1995-96), advisor to the European Parliament (1996-98) on issues regarding the euro monetary union and director of Consulting Services at ICAP S.Α. (1999-2000).

In 1996 Pyrros founded HEADWAY Economic Consultants Ltd and still remains the main shareholder of the company. In 2006 as a co-founder, Pyrros established another company, the Four Assist Development Consulting Ltd, which mainly undertakes projects in the field of Public Financial Management and in Economic Development in developing countries and countries in transition. During these years Four Assist implemented more than 120 projects, financed mainly by the European Commission and the World Bank, in several regions of the developing world, including the South Caucasus, Central Asia, South-East Asia, Balkans and Africa. In Four Assist Development Consulting Pyrros remained active until the end of December 2015.

In the period 2007 -09, Pyrros, interrupted his business activities and undertook the challenge of running the privatization project of Greece's flag carrier Olympic Airlines, Olympic Airways – Services and Olympic Aviation. He served as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer in Olympic Airlines (2008-2009) and in Olympic Airways – Services (2007-2008). During his tenure with the Olympic, he had under management 6500 employees and an annual turnover over 750 million euros.

After the successful conclusion of the privatization process, Pyrros returned to his academic duties and consulting activities. In the period August 2012 – June 2014 he has been appointed Coordinator of the Privatization of the Greek Regional Airports a project that has also been concluded successfully with the acquisition of the airports from Fraport AG for 1,23 billion euros. More recently Pyrros undertook the post of vice-president in Public Power Corporation SA in Greece.

Pyrros has also a strong teaching and academic experience having been a professor of Economics at the Hellenic Air Force Academy (1993-1994), a visiting professor at the Economics Department of the University of Crete (1996-1998), a lecturer (1998 -2003) and assistant professor (2003-07) at the Department of International and European Studies of the University of Macedonia and currently an associate professor at the Department of Political Science and International Relations of the University of Peloponnese (2007 – cont.). He has published various papers in international academic journals.

Mr. Kefalogiannis has been Group Vice Chairman & Senior Investment Officer at DEMCO Group since early 2009 until the end of 2013 (total assets under management of appr. $1 billion). He has co-lead the successful acquisition of Village Cinemas and Village Films from Village Roadshow Australia (Village is the absolute market leader in Cinema entertainment and Film distribution in Greece) as well as the successful comeback of the Group in insurance through a series of acquisitions in the Cyprus insurance market in order to create Prime Insurance.

Mr. Kefalogiannis has also served as DEMCO Group’s Managing Director & Executive Vice President in the period between early 2003 until the end of 2006. Prior to that Michail turned around the Group’s telecoms investment and operating company CosmoTelco/CosmoLine in a three year period by investing successfully in the region in a partnership with MATAV/DEUTSCHE TELEKOM. During the period 2000-2003 Mr. Kefalogiannis served as General Manager International Operations of Interamerican Insurance Group.

Michail Kefalogiannis has also headed as Project Manager several important projects of the Greek Goverment. In the period between 2007 and 2009 Michail coordinated and co-managed the whole privatization process of Olympic Airways (OA) on the side of the Greek Government ranging from the successful EU approval process for the OA sale through the Transportation and Competition authorities, the launch of the public tender and ultimately the successful completion of the privatization in March 2009. In the period 2012 - 2014 Mr. Kefalogiannis lead the establishment of the Greek Investment Fund (IFG), a joint successful initiative of the Greek Government together with the German Development Bank KFW, the European Investment Bank (EIB), the French Treasury and the Onassis Foundation.

Mr. Kefalogiannis has worked as a Principal for a regional private equity fund (the venture capital arm of Emporiki Bank of Greece) for another five years (late 1995 – early 2000) thus being an investment manager for the last 20 years.
Additionally, he serves as Chairman on the board of Greek Tourism and Hotel Enterprises of Crete SA, a 4* and 5* resort hotel operator in Crete (where he maintains a significant business interest).

Mr. Kefalogiannis was born in Crete, Greece in 1964.

Stefania Fafaliou is an HR consultant and Project Manager who possesses extensive experience in the bid preparation and implementation of technical assistance projects, specifically both framework contracts and larger scale/long term projects.

Stefania Fafaliou is an HR consultant and Project Manager who possesses extensive experience in the bid preparation and implementation of technical assistance projects, specifically both framework contracts and larger scale/long term projects. Ms Fafaliou has been involved in the bid preparation and implementation of projects for a variety of donors (European Commission, EBRD, EIB, World Bank).

Through her experience in technical assistance projects, Ms. Fafaliou has also obtained significant experience as a recruiter and specialises in the process of identifying, liaising, screening and evaluating potential candidates. She is familiar with a wide variety of sectors such as sustainable energy and development, rural development, water/wastewater, social policies, employment, education, culture, home affairs and governance and trade.

In her capacity as HR consultant, Ms Fafaliou deals with and provides guidance on a variety of topics such as facilitation of HR processes by implementing best practices, reorganization of companies/organizations, employee assessment and reward systems, optimal employee performance among others.

Ms. Stefania Fafaliou is fluent in Greek and English and she has implemented a number of projects in French.
